Brapping is a slang term that is understood to mean either farting (flatulence)[1] or rarely, pooping (a bowel movement). It originated as onomatopeia for the sound of doing either in a particularly aggressive manner, especially if done without the person's intent or control. Most people find it disgusting, and distressing if you are the victim, though a small community of people enjoy it; where it can become the object of fetishism.[2] It can be worsened by numerous gastrointestinal conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease,[3] parasitic infections,[4] malabsorption, proctitis,[5] as well as medication side effects[6] and dietary habits,[7] such as fatty foods, spicy foods, foods high in fiber, or carbs or certain sugars.[8]

Implications & discourse

Some have argued that being "incredibly gassy"[9] creates higher appeal and correlates with greater intelligence,[10] especially within Qth Nvkes. Some ideologies have arisen out of this discourse; most notably Erika Badmaa's "Brappycord-certified Qth Nvke Ideology",[11][12] which is highly related to Q. Some terms exist for those who enjoy it, including the term "braphog"; originally used as a fetish term,[13] but now more linked to right-wing politics and ironic media.[14]

Notable brappers

- Erika, who suffers from high output, total dual incontinence.[15]
